One Billion - Number Of People In World's Urban Slums

Today over a billion people live in desperate conditions in urban slums and squatter settlements, frequently without the basic necessities of life, much less the freedom and joy of the good news of Jesus. There is a desperate need for people to live among the urban poor as ministers of God’s hope and redeeming power, and to partner with them in transforming their communities.

We develop churches which transform their local communities by ministering to people’s physical and spiritual needs in an integrated approach.

We empower urban poor communities by working with key leaders, gathering them together to identify felt needs and resources within their neighborhood and equipping them to take action to meet those needs.
