On behalf of Servant Partners, we condemn the violence, hatred, and lawlessness at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, which was enacted by supporters of the president—including white nationalist hate groups—based on lies fomented by the president and several of his associates about the integrity of the election. Please join us in praying for our nation, where many people are like “sheep without a shepherd”—lost, susceptible to lies, unable to perceive the path of righteousness, confusing nationalism for patriotism, and walking a path of destruction. Salvation is not found in any political party or human leader. All power is accountable to God. May God have mercy upon us and this nation and establish truth, justice, genuine faith in God, and sincere love for our neighbors.
