If You’re Deciding Whether to Join Servant Partners Staff...
The Director of Recruiting and the Recruiting Team are the people to talk to at this stage of the process. They will be your key contacts through your decision-making process and right up until you’ve applied and been accepted if you do decide to join us. They can answer your questions, introduce you to Servant Partners, help you meet people, give you information on opportunities for ministry, and get you involved with introductory events and training times. Here’s how you can reach them:

If You’re Deciding Where to Serve with Servant Partners...
If you’ve decided you want to join Servant Partners staff, but aren’t sure yet where and when you’d like to serve (which site), you want to talk to the Recruiting Department and the Field Director. They can help you to get to know various sites and can guide you through a process that will help you discern where God is leading you to serve. One of the important ways they will help you is to introduce you to the team leaders from sites you’re interested in so you can interact with those team leaders directly. Here’s how you can reach them:

If You’ve Been Accepted and You’re Preparing to Go to the Field...
This is the stage when you need a good bit of practical help and guidance to prepare yourself well to get on the field. There are budgets to create, passports and visas to get, fundraising to be done, and lots of decisions to be made. The Pre-field Coordinator will orchestrate a group to SP staff to help you in this process. Our administrative staff will help you with the basics of “the packet,” which is a group of materials and assignments you’ll need to complete. One of the most important assignments is creating a realistic budget, which you’ll create in conjunction with both our administrative staff and your team leader (who will help you get a good sense of the true cost of living and ministry at the site you’re joining). Other staff will help train you in your fundraising. And the Pre-field Coordinator will oversee your preparation, encourage and assist you, and help hold you accountable for taking all the necessary steps. Here’s how you can reach them:

  • Pre-field Coordinator: Dave Palmer,
  • Executive Administrator: Heather Oswalt Stricklin,
