Mexico City is among the world’s largest cities. 25 million people live there. The cultural, political, economic and intellectual center of the Mexican Republic, the city holds much wealth. Yet domestic violence, poverty, systemic injustice and spiritual emptiness cripple the God-given potential of hundreds of thousands of families living in Mexico City slums. Their plight cries out to heaven. According to Operation World (2000), "Christian ministry to slum dwellers in Mexico City is fraught with difficulty and challenge. Few are prepared to commit themselves to it.”

The vision of Servant Partners Mexico is to facilitate the birth of holistic church planting movements, which will transform lives and communities among the urban poor. To these ends, we seek to develop leaders and partnerships and work with local leadership to address issues of justice and socio-economic development. We aim to organize communities, support small business and micro-credit development, promote holistic health care, youth and children's ministries, counseling, deliverance ministries, and urban consultations. We are keen on building bridges between the rich and poor and involve professionals to use their talents and resources for the betterment of urban poor communities. Finally, we hope to raise and send out missionaries from Mexico to other urban poor communities in cities around the globe. We believe very much in building coalitions and partnerships throughout Mexico City.

Note that team members for this site are challenged to make a five year commitment to the ministry.
