Established in 1998, the Boyle Heights site is located just east of downtown Los Angeles in a predominately Latino area. New intern teams are led by team leaders, and the site is directed by Marc Walton.

In Boyle Heights we seek to build a community of relocators and neighborhood folks who spend their lives following Jesus. The team members are trying to achieve this by developing deep friendships with neighbors, sharing Jesus with them, tutoring kids, hanging out with the young men on the street, opening their homes to the homeless, initiating neighborhood activities, studying scripture as a community, and encouraging each other toward faith and action.
