Bangkok is a city of great wealth: a center of trade, golf courses, luxury cars, renowned night life and entertainment, and high-tech comforts. But it's also one of great disparity between rich and poor, secure and vulnerable. There are an estimated 1 million slum dwellers in a city of about 8 million. Despite the city’s affluence and seeming success, those in the slums and millions more in other low-income communities are plagued with problems such as alcoholism, drugs, gambling, debts to loan sharks and prostitution. These influences are destroying individuals and families leaving multitudes in bondage. Although growing at a faster rate than any other religious group, the Protestant Christian population numbers only one-half of one percent of the predominately Buddhist population.

In collaboration with Servant Partners, Santisuk Partners is working towards initiating a church planting movement that brings community transformation, particularly among the working-class poor. Through such strategies as cell church ministries, a micro-enterprise development program that provides loans and business training and other transformational ministries, Santisuk Partners is developing leaders, strategies, and reproducing cell group churches to bring healing and deliverance to Thai people living in poor communities.

This ministry site is seeking people to become a member of the community, learn Thai, and reach out to friends with the gospel of Jesus through lifestyle evangelism. Servant Partners staff and volunteers can utilize their particular ministry gifts in a specific ministry they will specialize in, as well as play a role in the administration of the team.
