From Janet and Andy Singleterry, Servant Partners San Jose Internships Directors:

Traveling to Asia usually includes a trip over the Pacific Ocean, but recently, Andy and I flew over the Atlantic and through Germany to get to Bangkok!  We had some flight trouble and needed to be re-routed through Frankfurt.  It wasn't too much trouble, and since we flew through Japan on the way back, we could really say we went around the world!

While we were in Bangkok, we got the privilege to share our testimony of joy in suffering with a Thai cell group.  Andy was super excited to get to be with these beautiful Christ-followers who make up less than 1% of the population in Thailand.

Honduras was our next stop.  Jairo Sarmiento is the pastor of Iglesia en Transformacion en Tegucigalpa, and I have heard wonderful things about him and his wife Lourdes for all the time that I have known Andy!  They are as amazing as he described.  It was a sweet time of fellowship with the body of Christ in Honduras and our community that went from the River Church.  We were blessed to work with children of the church plant in La Tigra for the week as well as minister to kids in the slum community of Los Pinos around the church property.  I am grateful for this partnership and look forward to going back many times in the future!
